MirrorU, provided by Datagrafic Solutions, helps you prepare WhatsApp replies. Features depend on your installed version: the draft-correction edition works with the message you are typing; assistant editions can also use saved conversation history and information you provide.
With your consent and Android notification access, assistant editions save WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business notification previews, including chat names, sender names, message text, timestamps and available preview images. You can exclude individual chats. With separate Accessibility consent, MirrorU reads and saves visible text in enabled WhatsApp conversations and provides a chat helper. It checks the app and conversation before reading and does not read other apps' content.
You can optionally select or import phone-book contacts, import a chat export, or add reviewed information from a text file. Contacts and imported content are saved on this phone. MirrorU does not upload your entire phone book. Relevant confirmed contact information may be included in an AI request when you choose to use it.
Earlier draft-correction editions read only the current compose-field text when you tap the correction button; they do not capture notifications, contacts or past messages.
AI requests go through MirrorU's servers to an AI service provider. They can include your request, up to ten recent saved messages, chat names, your assistant profile, reviewed shared knowledge, voice preferences and active reply instructions. Contact-private information is included only after you confirm the contact in the open chat session. Background reply preparation uses shared context and requires a separate opt-in. Draft-correction requests contain the draft being corrected.
AI service providers may retain request content and generated replies temporarily for abuse prevention, security or legal requirements. The current processors and retention details are below. MirrorU does not store or log message bodies, assistant context or generated replies on its servers.
The app interface is independent of a particular AI provider. If we change or add a processor, we will update this list and the applicable retention terms, and obtain any additional consent required before the changed processing begins. Providers that are not listed are not currently used.
Conversation history, assistant information, drafts and review records remain on this phone until you delete them or remove the app. Stopping capture does not erase existing history. MirrorU's API processes AI content to return a result and does not retain that content afterwards.
To prevent abuse, the API processes network addresses into short-lived hashes and counters. Minute counters normally expire at the next minute boundary or on the next active request; service outages can delay cleanup. Global daily counts contain no message content. These hashes are security metadata, not anonymous data. Provider retention is described separately above.
Requests use HTTPS. AI-provider credentials are held on MirrorU's server, not requested from users or bundled in the app. Assistant API requests require Play Integrity verification bound to the exact request and are subject to shared abuse limits. The full-assistant release remains subject to completing and verifying this server configuration before launch.
MirrorU is not directed to children. We update this policy and its date when our data practices change.
